events : 24-26.10.03 "It's My birthday! Hooray! I grab my new rain stick and head off to the Brighton Center. Getting to Brighton and finding accomodation has been a complete nightmare, and I'm exhausted. The Brighton Center is easy to find and my presentation goes ok. There's some interest from some architecture students and also some guy who has also developed his own Director driven VJ software. We have a discussion with MTV/Radio 1 VJ Charles Kriel, who turns out to be one of the most facinating people I've met of recent years.. Reenie and I take a stroll on Brighton Pier as she seems to have a developed a fetish for rock. We plough through the mass of AVIT promotional flyers, leaflets and posters, and work out where we're going to go next. Finally,
after a seemingly endless walk we arrive at Concorde2. The visuals
are pretty good and the music's ok.. I'm to tired to dance, so I sit
back and grimace at the guy waving around his first ever set of glow
sticks, get drunk and sleep forever."
